How much is the Hire fee ?

Standard hire is a fixed fee of £250.00 with no additional costs which is refunded if £1000 in drink sales are taken on the day and no other outside alcohol is brought in.

What does Bar hire include ?

Bar hire includes trained uniformed staff ,glassware * ,refrigeration , Bar units in leather and steel .full same day delivery set up and clear .Removal of all waste products including rubbish and recycling .Licensing if required .Full drinks provision .

*More than 60 guests will require the venue to have a glass washer or dishwasher there is no extra charge for us to supply plastic glasses .

Is there a minimum guest fee ?

No there isn't fee we don't charge you if your guests don't show nor do we ask you to commit to a minimum number of guests .

How do you know how much drink to bring ?

We do many events of all different type the team have years of experience at supplying bars for different function and guest number we always over stock .

How much space do you need for the bars ?

The bars are built in kit form on site and start from 4ft per sections the minimum serving space required is approx. 10x10ft although this can depend on the location ,how many staff are needed and what facilities are in the location already .For example if the bar area is too small we won't be able to open the glass fronted fridges whilst someone is in front of them which will limit the number of staff and increase the serving time or in some instances we can't get equipment into the area at all .there must also be access to plug sockets within a reasonable distance to the bar .we would accept the access to the bar serving area to be reasonably accessible in some cases a site visit may be necessary. Adequate on site parking within a reasonable distance to the bar serving area must be provided .

How many staff do you bring ?

This will depend on the complexity of your occasion and how many guests you have .

Do you bring all the glasses ?

Yes we do we provide proper glassware in venues with glass washers .We also have plastics for children .Glassware is provided free while the bar is open and only for the drinks we are serving we cannot serve drinks from glass in a venue that does not have hot running water .

Bar hire does not include glasses for tables or water jugs nor will the staff clear,wash or dry glasses not supplied by Bar-Anywhere .We do not provide table service included in bar hire .If you wish to hire glasses for the tables or water jugs please contact us for a quote.

Do you bring ice ?

Yes we do .

We would like to provide our own drinks can we do this ?

Unfortunately not .we are happy to source drinks for you providing we can get them from our suppliers and can keep the selling price competitive we are able to keep our prices low buy having contract with suppliers for bulk order anything specific we order in will not be priced at the same as a our normal stock options. .We can only stock drinks in legal serving measures .If there is something specific we are unlikely to sell again we will ask you to pay for the product up front and then serve it to guests on your behalf .We can quote for toasting drinks from £3 per glass and drinks on arrival our prices are very competitive alternatively we can provide a quote for corkage per bottle standard corkage for 70CL bottle is from £25 This does not apply if staff only are booked .

We would like to pay for some drinks up front is this possible ?

Of course we are happy for you to put an amount of money behind the bar and run a tab. Alternatively if you would like to give your guests a drinks token we can arrange this also.

Can you supply bars and staff for our event so we can provide our own drinks ?

Absolutely depending on availability contact us for a quote .

We want to have a bar outside is this possible ?

Absolutely we can set up in any venue weather/season dependant we have done bars in horse shelters,tipi's under canopies and from vehicles . contact us for details we do not hire outside from Sept to April .

We can also provide outdoor lighting , power , furniture hire decorations and gazebos but there will be a charge for this please contact us for details .please note outdoor set up will be a longer install .We can also supply a generator for hire please contact us for a quote.

Will I need a license ?

If the venue that you are using does not have a premises license to serve alcohol then you will need a license .We apply for a Ten Notice from the local council which notifies them that an address will be serving and selling alcohol for a special event. Copies of the license are sent to the local environmental health, local council and local police licensing officer. We need a minimum of Three weeks notice to apply for a standard TEN .There are exceptions if you do not have three weeks please contact us in this instance. Please note while a TEN is in place our licensee's become responsible for ALL ALCOHOL on the premises regardless of whether it is given away or sold .We do not allow any drinks on site not provided by Bar-Anywhere as not to jeopardise our Alcohol Licensing .If alcohol is found on site we will ask for it to be removed and the hirer will lose their deposit .If a serious breach occurs and our license is in jeopardy the bar will close and may be removed depending on the severity.

Do you supply the glasses ?

Yes we do we have all our own glassware .please ensure your venue allows glass and has hot running water if it does not we can provide plastics there is no cost for this.

Will I have to dispose of all the rubbish .

No the bar anywhere team will remove all the bottles ,and rubbish we recycle all plastics,cans , glass and cardboard where possible.

I need to cancel completely how much notice do I have to give .

Upon signing our booking form a legally binding contract exists between us.

Should you wish to cancel your booking, notice must be given in writing and 90 days before the event is scheduled to commence. Should you fail to tell us within this time margin the full booking fee of £250.00 will be forfeited. If the booking has been made less than 30 days before the event date £25 for the license fee will be deducted from the deposit and the remaining £225 returned to you if we transfer your booking to another date your booking fee is transferrable but non refundable as we will have held two dates for you. we have do not have a minimum guest number your booking and our attendance are not dependant on the number of guests you have attending should this change from the original number supplied at booking .Should you wish to transfer your booking to another date we will do this at no additional cost once we have held a second date for you the booking fee becomes non refundable .

Why do you ask if there is water ?

We need water to wash hands and clean the glasses if it is an outside area without hot running water we will bring plastics .We can heat water to wash hands but it is not possible to heat enough water to provide glass cleaning for a whole day .

Are you registered with the Food standards Agency ?

Yes we are we are pleased to say we have a food hygiene rating of 5 on the food standards agency scheme and are registered as a food business with Dacorum Borough Council who are our local environmental health .Copies of the Certificate and inspection are available to view if required by your venue.

How much power do you need ? One standard plug socket is all that is required .We have extensions .If you are allowing power from a generator 8kgva is required without lighting .

What other services do you offer ?

We can supply venue dressing from decorations to displays through our sister company Seren Events .We also offer a diy hire service .we can supply hot dogs ,Popcorn,Candy Floss .Soft play and Bouncy castles along with balloon décor .We have light up letters, bunting and vintage china .

We also work with a number of chosen suppliers and are the preferred supplier for Church Farm ,Chiltern open air museum along with many others .
